Land Training offers online courses that provide training at your own pace with Professional Land Management and Division Order Certificate Programs.
In-Person training is offered to get training on-location in land management that is customized for your team.
Land Training's website offers FREE tutorials that walk through Certified Professional Landman (CPL) and Registered Professional Landman (RPL) exam study guides. Basic lease calculations and NALTA Study Guide Problems to prepare you for your exam.

ALTA strongly believes in continuing education. We provide two types of awards each year (scholarship and education funds).
Our industry created a voluntary Certification Program which provides a reliable standard of excellence and achievement while enhancing the professional status of the lease and title Analyst.
The designation of CPLTA (Certified Professional Lease and Title Analyst) is granted to applicants who complete a comprehensive examination and maintaining continuing education credits. Visit www.nalta.org for more information about this career enhancing program.
Review and Testing
The review will be available online only thru the portal this year. The cost will be $50.00 for 30 days and available to NALTA Members only. As of April 23, 2021, the NALTA board is working on getting the programming done on the portal. An update email will be emailed out within the next several weeks so be on the lookout.
If you are interested in sitting for the CPLTA exam, please make sure you have applied and been approved. If you have not completed these steps, please visit the Certification section of the NALTA.org website. There are step by step instructions. A testing date has not been set yet for 2021 but will be in the near future. Of course, if you have questions feel free to reach out to your chapters CPLTA liaison.
